📅 21 October 2026
Doctors from the Buyanov Moscow City Hospital presented a report at the World Congress of Intensive Care in Japan.
In early October, the 11th World Critical Care & Anesthesiology Conference (2026WCAC) concluded in Osaka, Japan. This major event brought together leading experts from prominent hospitals, universities, and medical associations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas to address the primary objective of modern intensive care: improving survival rates for patients in critical condition.
Our hospital was represented at the conference by the heads of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) No. 7 and the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department No. 2: Sergey Alexandrovich Rautbart, an anesthesiologist-intensivist and Candidate of Medical Sciences, and Alexander Alexeyevich Alexandrovsky, an anesthesiologist-intensivist.
The colleagues delivered a joint presentation on a modern, multidisciplinary approach to treating patients with cardiogenic or septic shock — some of the most severe and life-threatening conditions in intensive care. They shared the experience of the Buyanov Moscow City Hospital in implementing a unified system for patient care, based on international clinical guidelines and standardized treatment protocols.
The reports main conclusion: Success in treating critical conditions depends not only on modern medical technologies but also on timely decision-making, clear algorithms, and well-coordinated teamwork.
