Cardiologists from the Arrhythmology Center of the V.M. Buyanov City Clinical Hospital took part in the 16th scientific session of the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society APHRS.
APHRS is the first and only society organized in the Asia-Pacific region to promote excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
The last joint meeting in Hong Kong took place exactly 10 years ago, in 2013.
The session presented the latest developments in the field of cardiac pacing, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, treatment of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachyarrhythmias. Innovations in mapping and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias were demonstrated through both lectures and case demonstrations.
Reports were presented from our clinic Baimukanov Azamat Maratovich, cardiologist, Ph.D. “Sleep apnea and atrial fibrillation: clinical features and possibilities of screening diagnostics” and Yulia Dmitrievna Vaisman, cardiologist “Treatment of bradyarrhythmia in patients with sleep apnea. What will you choose: pacemaker or CPAP therapy?
